This design, the "stylised Concorde" was the first used one on Concorde. It serves to show you the "complete"set.
Galley Items

Depending on the flight duration as to what passengers would be served. Over the years there have been, truly exceptional menus providing a variety of culinary delights and beverages. Another absolute certainty, when flying on Concorde, was the quality of the glass, china and cutlery that passengers would use. There were several designs and you will find some of those on this website. We have done our best to give the greatest choice but hope you will appreciate that the fascination of owning/collecting Concorde items has only served to increase their scarcity, testimonial in itself to its great attraction.

One more thing:

Don't despair if you've broken one of your favourite "collectables", we may be able to replace it, just let us know what you are looking for and we'll help if we can.

"Stylised Concorde" Trio set

!
IMG_0058

The very first design to be used on British Airways' Concorde fleet.

The design as you can see from the photograph is Concorde with a droop nose position, side by side, surounded by blue and bordered by 2 gold rims.

Not bad in the photograph, but in real life, a really superb design!

All of this design was made by Royal Doulton, their crest "Lion standing on 5 point crown" is on each piece and all pieces are marked:

"Royal Doulton",  "English Fine Bone China" and with the corresponding British Airways part number.

This three piece set comprises:

Part number                   Description

UCCH8002 or EC1024    Cup

UCCH8003                      Saucer

UCCH 8001                     Small Plate, approx. 5" (125 mm).

A tea spoon (as in the photograph) from an early issue on Concorde.

"Black/Silver Line" 4 piece set

!
IMG_0059

Another elegant design, in the style of "art nouveau", was this Black & Silver Line, "silver" refers to colour, it is actually "metalised". The black rim line is separaterd from the "silver" line by the colour of the white fine china, so it appears as three colours, but in fact just the two create this effect.

This set comprise 4 pieces: cup, saucer, small plate and medium plate.

We also include the tea spoon (in the photograph) from an early issue on Concorde

Each piece is marked Royal Doulton, Fine Bone China and has the corresponding British Airways part number. The marking includes the Royal Doulton "Lion standing on 5 point Crown".

All of the pieces in this design were made by either Royal Doulton or Wedgwood. The part numbers were the same irrespective of which fine maker made them, so it's quite normal to find items made by either maker.

Part number Description

EC1042 or EC1044           Cup

EC1089                           Saucer

EC1087                           Small Plate approx. 4 1/2"

EC1103                           Medium Plate approx. 5 1/2"

Note

Please note the cups offered here are the "Silver/Black Line" design; the purests would claim they are not the matching cup and that is true! However, when in service these were used intechangeably because the handles used to break off the "Black/Silver Line" sets, so they are almost impossible to obtain, hence this substitution.

Note too, that these cups were made by Royal Doulton and Wedgwood although the part numbers were the same regardless or which fine maker made them. If you have a preference please say so when ordering, we shall do our best to accommodate your request.

"Black/Silver Line" Cruet Set

EC1091               Pepper Pot

EC1092               Butter Pat

"Silver/Black Line" 1/2 place setting

!

A classic and pseudo "art deco" stylish design by Royal Doulton, fine bone china, used on Concorde.

The silver (in colour, actually they are "metalised") rim is immediately edged by an inner black line, making for a very stylish design indeed!

This will make a very elegant gift and will look fantastic complimenting any Concorde collector’s collection or it can be used (of course with the greatest of care) on those very special occasions!

This 1/2 set comprises:

China:     Cup, saucer, dinner plate and butter pat.

Cuttlery:   Knife, Fork, Dessert Spoon and Tea Spoon.

Glasses:  Straight glass and  wine flute.

The china was made by either Royal Doulton or Wedgwood. The British Airways part numbers were the same irrespective of which fine maker made them. So it's quite normal to find the cup made by Wedgwood and the saucer and plates made by Royal Doulton.

Part number               Description

EC1042 or EC 1044   Cup

EC1045                         Saucer

EC1049                         Large Plate approx. 6 1/2"

EC1050                         Butter Pat

The cutlery was made by and is marked:  Atkinson  Sheffield, which is silver plate, except the knife blade, which is stainless steel.

The glasses, made by Royal Doulton bear their name on the base along with that of  British Airways.

All these items has been in service so bear approriate evidence of wear and use, but all items are intact and without chips or cracks.

Note

We have cups that were made by Royal Doulton and Wedgwood although the part numbers were the same regardless or which fine maker made them. If you have a preference please say so when ordering, we shall do our best to accommodate your request.
